Shop Personnel, Full-time
Location: Woodinville, WA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Shop Manager
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 Annual equivalent, paid hourly
Position Overview
Shop Personnel at Interbay Door support the fabrication and preparation of interior and exterior doors and related components for residential and commercial projects. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment, assisting with machining, assembly, sanding, finishing prep, and quality control to ensure products meet Interbay Door’s standards.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with woodworking tools and machinery.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with hanging doors and working with door components

Operate woodworking equipment such as table saws, planers, sanders, and routers (training provided as needed)

Sand, prep, and assemble door components prior to finishing

Read and follow shop drawings and work orders

Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, fit, and finish

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all shop safety procedures and equipment guidelines

Assist with incoming orders, checking and maintaining inventory and orders

Assist with material handling, staging, and packaging for delivery

Communicate with Shop Manager regarding project status or issues

Assist with deliveries to customer site when needed
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in a woodshop, millwork shop, or manufacturing environment preferred (but not required)

Basic knowledge of woodworking tools and measuring techniques

Ability to read a tape measure accurately

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Ability to lift to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Valid Drivers license
Preferred Experience
-
Experience with custom doors, millwork, or cabinetry

Familiarity with shop drawings or production schedules

Machine maintenance
-
Finish prep or sanding experience

Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)
